Seen from the side, a Dachshund is a low, long line: pointed muzzle, domed head, ears that fall to the jaw, then a long back and short legs. That silhouette is so distinctive that the stencil needs very little inside it, just an eye, the ear and a nose tip. A wide, short pumpkin lets the whole body fit across the face.
