Templates, patterns and stencils: same thing?
Mostly yes. "Template" and "pattern" are the older words from carving books; "stencil" is what most people search today. All three mean a printed design you tape to the pumpkin and transfer before carving. Ours are drawn in two tones, black to cut and white to keep, with three-tone shading possible on advanced designs.
