About these easy stencils
What makes a stencil easy is not the subject but the shapes: big openings, no lines thinner than a pencil, and plenty of skin between cuts. All designs here were generated at the Easy level and every floating piece has a bridge.
If you want an easy stencil of your own pet, upload a photo to the stencil maker and pick Easy: it keeps only the outline, eyes and nose.

How to carve a easy pumpkin
- Pick a design and download the PDF in the size that matches the flattest face of your pumpkin.
- Cut a lid or a hole in the back, scoop out the pulp and thin the front wall to about 1 inch so the light shines through.
- Tape the stencil flat, poke along every line about 3 mm apart, then peel the paper off.
- Cut out the black shapes with a small saw, smallest pieces first, and keep every white bridge.
- Light it with an LED and clean up any edges that block the glow.
Carving tips
- Use a small pumpkin and the Small PDF for very young carvers.
- Let kids poke the dots while an adult saws.
- Pick designs with three to six cuts for a first pumpkin.
